The Philip Begonja Memorial Foundation was created to honor the extraordinary life of our son, brother, and friend, and to keep him as an active part of our lives. Philip was full of light, life, energy, intelligence and humor.
Though Philip’s extraordinary life was suddenly taken from us on the morning of December 25, 2011, it is our family’s and friends' joy to carry on Philip’s passion for life, sharing and laughter through this Foundation. We look forward to our new journey with Philip by our side.
The Foundation’s primary mission is to award educational grants and scholarships to deserving young people requiring financial assistance; award grants to educational institutions; and award grants for the improvement of public parks. The Foundation also supports other worthy causes that are representative of those that Philip cherished during his life.
The Philip Begonja Memorial Foundation calls upon your generosity to support us in keeping Philip’s memory alive by helping those in need. He was a young man meant to do great things! Thank you.
